About Us

It's a fact

carpenters are the custodians of the construction industry, they’re usually the first to come and last to leave. They have to accommodate and clean up after all the other trades, and always the “go to guys” if you need some friendly advice on where to run a wire, or a pipe, or some re bar, well you get the picture; a lot of the time its  just knowing where to find something or help with a heavy lift. Someone once said everyone and there grandmother is a carpenter, and they are probably right. In a nice warm shop with everything at your disposal granny could probably turn out some pretty cool stuff. Then trying doing it with the amount of adversity we face on a daily bases. Firstly time, there’s never enough we are always under the gun to get our job done so the the other trades can start their work, secondly, weather no weather on earth can stop a carpenter be it framing houses in the blazing100 degree heat in Arizona or forty stories in the air with sideways rain on a high-rise in Vancouver. I always loved forming pile caps in Fort MacMurray at -40 with freezing eyeballs. There’s nothing quite like freezing eyeballs.

At carpenterforhire.net we pride ourselves on being honest hard working and knowledgeable trades people, who will be there for you when you need us. We are on call 24/7 for emergences, or perhaps you only need a screw in a hinge on the front gate. Maybe now is the right time to build that deck and addition, whatever the case, big job or small we “get it done,”  We also get a lot of calls from homeowners who want to open up a room but just aren’t sure if that wall is load bearing or not. We can help, and we’ll show you why, then give you a suggestion or two to think over. We all need a hand once in a while it brings us closer together; don’t ya think? So I guess the next step is pick up the phone and lets talk strategy.
